After the painting is finished, I'll send you a photo — you get two rounds of minor local touch-ups (for example, fine-tuning your dog's nose color or enhancing the highlight in your cat's eyes). This covers small detail refinements only, not starting over or switching photos. If you don't reply within 48 hours at the sketch stage, we'll proceed as drafted to keep your portrait on schedule.

For full-body portraits, we recommend the 10" frame. For headshots, the 8" or 8" square works well — choose square or rectangular based on the composition. This is only a recommendation based on experience, not a rule.

Not sure which photo works best? Upload your favorite for now. I'll personally review it within 24 hours and message you about the details. If the photo isn't suitable, we'll adjust it together. -
Step 2 – Approve the sketch
Within 24 hours of your order, I'll send you a draft sketch of the composition for your approval. If the uploaded photo isn't quite right, I'll reach out and we'll fix it together.
If you don't reply within 48 hours, we'll consider the composition (based on the photo you provided at checkout) approved and move on to the next step. -
Step 3 – Approve the finished piece, then we ship
As soon as your portrait is painted, I'll send you a photo of the finished piece.
